This is how I work the… smelting
The bees are the provider of the main material for the bronze artistic smelting, the material I like to develop my projects with: the wax.
Most of the time I work with lost wax casting. My bronze pieces are unique, series of one and one only piece.
From collecting the wax till the final patina, it is all my work, and I make it alone. All the phases of the smelting process require great concentration, even if only one fails, the process does not come to fruition. The wax creates the “ceramic shell” cast, this to the smelt and, if the result is acceptable, the final patinate.
